Moving party!

So, here's some moving details, for anyone here who will be assisting with the move. First off, we will not be getting a moving truck. This is because Doug has offered us the use of his truck. Neither Drew or I have any furniture that would be too big for the back of a pickup truck. I've also seen the 'move with a truck and a few cars' thing in action before when helping Scott T. move, and it works rather well. In fact, while it does take slightly longer, due to more driving, it does have two big advantages:

1.) It's good for avoiding the headaches of trying to arrange the furniture and boxes into a truck so that they fit and things don't get crushed all weird and all that stuff.

2.) You have forced breaks, as you have to sit down in order to drive loads around and all. Yay, breaks!

Said moving will take place Saturday, the 29th. I haven't talked to Drew about the starting time, I'm thinking 10ish or 11ish maybe, but again I need to talk to Drew before confirming a final time. I'm anticipating people will likely meet at his place, and go from there. Since this is moving 2 people from 2 places, I decided to be prudent about things and take Friday off. I'm going to make a sincere effort to move over as much of my stuff on Friday as possible so that, if all goes as planned (hoped?), all I'll have left to move over are the items too large and ridiculous to fit into my car. Or too heavy, as my arms are weak and spindly. Albeit, this might work out well also for splitting people up, since it might be good to have people at both Drew's place and the new place, so people can drag stuff outside while others are dragging stuff inside. I guess this will be figured out in time.

Also! There will be pizza provided for all helpers upon completion of the moving process. It shall be cheesy and glorious.
