Super Cute!
It is so cold out, so cold! Rumor has it (and by 'rumor', I mean 'Weatherbug') that it might snow Thursday. This would make me happy. Cold weather without snow is a waste, as far as I'm concerned.
We are being inundated with free stuff at work as they get rid of some items that have apparently been collecting dust for quite awhile. So I now have several framed prints, most of which I got for the frame, and a few for the whole ensemble. The most significant of these is a map of the world circa. sometime in the 19th century - in a ridiculous massively textured frame that's almost 3' x 4'. That's gonna look great above the couch!
Also, this one's about a month late, but I finally am getting around to posting part of my secret santa gift from my work party. We were encouraged to make things for our gift. This was part of my gift to Becky (who is one who appreciates cute Japanese things), whereupon I took an old wooden box that used to hold oil pastels, and covered it with these little guys:
Fun times!

That gives me a great idea to buy cheap thrift store art for the frames. I have nice books with pictures of Lichtenstein prints, 1950s movie stars, and historical Richmond to rip out and put in said frames.
