Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: I got christened by yesterday's impromptu thunderstorm. My wise old self decided it was a great idea to bike to the atm when there were dark clouds brewing in the sky. Oh, had I only left 10 minutes earlier. At the atm, the first little drop fall. Just a few blocks back, the torrential rains begin to fall. I walked the bike the rest of the way back, getting completely soaked in the process. I tried to ride a bit at first, but there was too much water, too much wind, and it had just been too soon since the car accident for me to brave enough to bike in such crappy conditions.

Here's something frustrating: why is it that all colleges either come across as elitist and overpriced, or as party schools? No good at all. Also frustrating: if I'm planning on taking a bunch of time off to teach myself new things, why would I need to spend a bunch of money for a school to teach me things? Time will only tell if disillusioning thoughts about going to grad school will grow or recede.
