Dang, I'm tired!
Tomorrow will be mega packing!
I am unsuccessfully attempting to sell off stuff I don't need, via craigslist ads. I got one taker for the 3 harry potter books, but have not heard back from her since yesterday, so that might be a no-go. I need to post my dresser as well, it's heavy and ridiculous and completely unnecessary considering the vast quantities of closets at the new place.
Upon getting more time, I need to look into how to make Facebook applications. This is because, despite the fact that so many are utter time-destroyers, there are a few that are really quite enjoyable (Scrabulous anyone? Or Scramble, for that matter?), and I think it would be worthwhile to learn how to make them myself.
That which is ridiculous? Shoe Carnival. Apparently it's not the season for there to be women's hiking shoes. The sales person told me this. I mean, it's spring! That's pretty much the beginning of hiking season for me! Then Drew points out that most people that wear hiking boots most likely don't really hike. Also ridiculous: there were zero high top athletic shoes for women. Where's my ankle support?!
So about this whole potential Florida and Michigan re-vote thing. I don't really have an opinion as to if it should or shouldn't happen. I just hope that the Dem. party realises that, should the two states be allowed to redo their primary voting, that means there's absolutely nothing that can be done if, in 4 years, a bunch of states want to move their primary up earlier, since this precedent would get set. Since "Hey, don't do that or we won't count your votes...just kidding!" is not really effective. This not really addressing the fact that it's rather flawed anyhow to have certain states that end up being more important then other states just because of when they vote and all. If anything, this current election season, with it's neck to neck democratic candidates, is totally making all of the states feel warm and fuzzy and important, not just the early ones!
