Spin the Globe!

I had a random thought at work today about spinning the globe and finding out where you're gonna live. So, in an effort to not spend another evening having a cough and runny-nose induced Civ pity-fest, I decided to make something.


Spin the globe, and you too can find out where you will live, someday!


My latest hobby has been sticking Google ads on everything, but I have a feeling it will be pointless in this case. I wanted to make this memelike in some way, where I could have a snippet of code to copy/paste that would have a little map or the nearest city/country of location, but I just couldn't think of a way to make it feasable. So it will remain a fun little toy, and that's about it. It was neat to play with Google maps though, I'd been wanting to do that for a little while.

My initial evening's plan included making a quiz based on some Weird Al lyrics, but in the process of looking for images for the quiz, I came across the exact quiz I'd planned on making, so I scratched that idea of the list. I miss doing memelike things, and want to do more.

In other news, ole VD day is tomorrow. Drew will be making me dinner, and as I am still a bit sick (and a bit crampy as well, rather unfortunate), I will be making some brownies from the box. Nice and creative there, eh?

And on a final note, I'd really like to see snow tonight. That's such a crappy part of living in Richmond - barely any snow at all. I tolerate cold weather much better if I at least get some pretty snow every now and then!
