I am full of sickness

I really hate being sick. This is now my 3rd day off of work. I was hoping, in the beginning, that it would be a light cold I could just sleep off, but no. I had a 103 fever at one point, and after suffering through the Patient First experience finally got some anti-viral pills. They're working very slowly. I just ran out of toilet paper, so it's a good thing I've got a nice stash of napkins. I'll be attempting to bribe Drew to go to the grocery store for me later. I also realised that I've not checked my mail in 3 days. I've started to be able to eat solid foods again, which is good. I just downed an avocado like it was nothing! At some point in the near future I'll hit the point where my stomach realises it's been living on fluids for the past three days and I will promptly start eating everything in sight.

In other news, it's interesting that Virginia will actually be significant in the primaries this time around. So, go vote on Tuesday!
