So full of greasy fishies
So now that John Edwards has dropped out of the race, All Things Considered is busy talking about how now there's a bunch of white men who were originally gunning for Edwards and suddenly have no obvious candidate. So no apparently there's obvious choice for this demographic. All of this talk is giving me a headache, and is quite likely giving a bunch of other people headaches as well. I mean, what the hell? Is it that newsworthy that there's a bunch of people that now don't have an option for president in their specific gender and/or color within their party? This has *always* been the case for me! And (for the most part) everyone else who is not a white male! It makes no sense! Who *cares* what the person looks like?! I mean, it's newsworthy and all that no matter what, the democratic candidate will be a first for race/gender, but I have a hard time believing that any significant number of people will choose who they vote for based on these factors. Or, more the case in point, struggle to choose someone because their gender/color combination is not represented amongst the options. Maybe this is one of those weird generation divides, or something.
I want to start a new blog site just devoted to me taking pictures of things I eat for dinner and posting them. whatiatefordinnertoday.com might be doable, but it might also be a bit long. Maybe whatiateforsupper.com? Any suggestions?
