Mint cake of goodness

So I made this supersweet cake for mother's day:
It's a standard devil's food cake, but I crushed up 1/2 of a package of mint Kid-Os (the Kroger offbrand for Oreos) and dumped them in. The icing is a simple vanilla glaze (powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla) with some green food coloring added, and then the sprinkles on top. Adding the cookies made it just minty enough for a really good zing, but not overly minty.
